Delete Your Account
Last updated: August 2026
This page explains how to delete your Tickmeek account and everything we hold for it on our servers.
1 Do you even have an account?
Tickmeek works completely offline and does not require an account to use. An account only exists if you deliberately signed in with Apple or Google, which exists to store your cloud backups.
If you never signed in, there is nothing of yours on our servers to delete. Uninstalling the app removes everything, because all of it lived on your device.
2 Delete your account in the app
Deletion is immediate and takes four taps:
- •Open the menu using the ☰ button in the top-left corner
- •Tap Settings
- •Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account
- •Confirm in the dialog that appears
The Settings screen also shows which account you are signed in as, so you can check before you confirm. If you would rather just sign out and keep the account, there is a Sign out option in the same place.
If you have access to cloud backup — on premium or during the free trial — the same Delete account option also appears on the Backup and restore screen, next to the account it belongs to.
3 What gets deleted
Confirming permanently removes, immediately and without a queue or waiting period:
- •Your authentication record — the account itself
- •Your user record on our servers, along with any internal bookkeeping kept against it
- •Every cloud backup file stored under your account
4 What stays on your device
Your tasks, lists, categories and settings are stored on your phone and are not touched. Tickmeek is offline-first, so closing your cloud account does not take your work with it — the app keeps working exactly as before, just without cloud backup.
To remove the local data too, uninstall the app or clear its data in your device settings.
5 Your premium purchase
Tickmeek premium is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and it is held against your App Store or Google Play account rather than your Tickmeek account. There is nothing to cancel.
Deleting your Tickmeek account does not refund or revoke it, and you can restore the purchase at any time.
Before you confirm
- •Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- •Your cloud backups are unrecoverable once deleted — restore anything you need first
- •You can create a new account later, but old cloud data cannot be brought back
6 Can't open the app?
If you no longer have the app installed or cannot sign in, email us and we will delete the account for you.
Write to [email protected] from the address associated with your account. Requests are completed within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
